What is Herbal incense

There is a new drug in town and its being referred to as being synthetic marijuana. It is becoming more and more popular because this "herbal incense" is

legal(illegal in Kansas). The herbal incense is mainly called K2 or simply "spice".  It also may go by herbal potpourri, k2 herb, k2 smoke.  It also often

referred to as fake weed or fake pot.

There are many different brand names and vendors of the product.  Some vendors include Cloud 10, Down to Earth, Barely Legal, Zero Gravity, Purps, K2

incense, Fairly Legal, Soul Meds, Mr. Nice Guy, and many many more.  I would say there is a least 200 if not more different companies that produce an

herbal blend product.

What exactly is it?

It is nothing more than a mixture of herbs that is sprayed with JWH-018. JWH-018 is the chemical that produces a marijuana like high. The potency of

herbal incense depends on how much is mixed with the herbs.

Why is it become so popular?

JWH-018 is not something new, and spice has been around for a couple years now and was not really all that well know. It was only recently that it began

gaining popularity because of a documentary that aired on television. Since then news stations have done stories on this incense. Thus introducing it to a

whole new audience that had not heard of it.

JWH-018 has now become listed as a banned substance by the DEA in March 2011.  Now the herbal mixtures are coated with new synthetic chemicals that

produce the same results.   Thus making the herbal incense blends once again legal in all 50 states as long as they do not contain any banned or illegal

substance.

Another reason to why this incense is so popular is because users of the product do not test positive for thc when they are administered a drug test.

Now lawmakers are trying to ban this, because they feel teens are abusing this product. Kansas has become the first state to ban K2. Missouri, Kentucky,

and Tennessee are all close reaching a ban.

Are there any side effects?

It is s hard to say, it really has not been tested. Users of the product are quick to tell you that the only down side to this product is that, the high only last

about half as long as marijuana.

If you are looking into or thinking about trying any of these products it may be a good to check out some herbal incense reviews websites, because some

people have report adverse side effects like; panic attacks and seizures.  While others have not had any problems at all.

Personally, I feel that marijuana should be legalized, taxed, and regulated. The same way as booze and cigarettes.
